Celebration of Us Too
Our kindergarten, first and second grade students will be presenting Celebration of Us
Too on Tuesday, May 1st at 6:30 p.m. Ms. Brim would like for students to wear bright solid colors. Students should arrive no later than 6:15 p.m. and should report to the cafeteria. Ms. Brim and her students have been working very hard on this program and we hope everyone will choose to attend to show your support.
Artwork from our kindergarten, first and second grade students will be on display during our Celebration of Us Too musical event on Tuesday, May 1st. Please plan to drop by to view the creative work of our K-2 students.
Change for a Day
On May 1st, someone will be in our car rider line to collect your “change.” “Change for a Day” is our way to raise funds for this year’s Relay for Life campaign. Your generosity is very much appreciated for worthy cause.
Our lunch charges continue to be very high. We understand that families forget and we also understand that families have many financial responsibilities/obligations. We cannot, however, ignore these charges. Letters with specific amounts (if more than $5.00) go home with students on a weekly basis. If you received one of these letters, please take care of these charges as soon as possible. If you need to set up a payment plan, please contact Mr. Ottaway or Mrs. Southard. We will be happy to work with you. Students who have outstanding lunch charges will not be permitted to participate in end of year activities, such as field day, awards day, etc.
EOG testing will be here before you know it. As of today, our testing days are May 24th, May 25th and May 30th. We will also offer the beginning of summer enrichment program again this year. This will be offered on June 8th-15th. (excluding the weekend) This program gives students who were not proficient on the regular test a second opportunity to show proficiency. Many of our students took advantage of this program last year. 3-5 parents, as you’re making vacation plans for the summer, please keep these important dates in mind. This program was a HUGE success for our students last year.
Yearbooks Are Back
We have a few “extra” yearbooks for sale if you did not order one in advance. They will be available on a “first come, first serve” basis for $25.00 as long as they last.
