Updates on End of Grade Testing
Our students and staff have had a very successful first round of End of Grade testing. With the exception of a few make up tests, we expect to wrap it up today. Our students and school benefited greatly from last year’s EOG retests. We will, once again, have an opportunity to offer enrichment activities and retest opportunities for students who do not pass this year’s EOG test on the first try. The enrichment activities will begin on Friday, June 9th. Retest opportunities will be given the following week. If your child is eligible to retest in any subject, we’ll send out additional information. Some third grade parents will receive reading retest information today.
Our annual field day will be held on Monday, June 5th. Our rain date is Tuesday, June 6th. K-2 Field Day will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end around 10:45 a.m. 3-5 Field Day will begin at 11:45 and end around 2:00 p.m.
Our annual Awards Day will be held on Wednesday, June 7th. Recognitions will begin at 1:00 p.m. If your child is receiving an award or is being recognized, you will receive a special invitation to attend. We hope to get those letters out by the end of this week.
Last Day of SchoolThe last day of school for students will be Thursday, June 8th. Students will be dismissed at 11:00 a.m.
June 2nd will be our ribbon cutting for the playground! We are very excited for anyone to attend. It will start at 2 p.m.
We hope everyone enjoyed Trolls. The children really seemed to have a good time and we hope you all enjoyed it!
PTA will be taking a break for the summer and we hope you each enjoy yours!

Please get the charges paid as soon as possible. If you need exact amounts, please contact Mr. Ottaway or Mrs. Kim in the cafeteria.
