Stokes County Schools will make an announcement on October 2, 2020 after monitoring the impact of COVID-19 since students have been back in the building under Plan B. Reminder breakfast & lunch are free through December.
Stokes County Schools will review the latest orders from the Governor. We will discuss the orders with the Board of Education and administration on September 21, 2020 as we make a decision of how this announcement will affect Stokes County Schools.

On June 14, Governor Cooper announced that public schools in North Carolina would be operating under Plan B, 50% occupancy. The plan the district operates under will be based on guidance from State and Local officials, North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, and the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. Districts are allowed to use a more restrictive plan based on the current needs of the district or under the guidance of the local Health Department.
